Westminster Gynaecology:
Patient Benefits

Westminster Gynaecology is a group of experienced gynaecology, gynaecological oncology and urogynaecology specialists that have come together to provide a specialist service to women in London and other parts of the UK.

The key benefits of being a patient with Westminster Gynaecology include:

  • Accessibility to see a gynaecology consultant with the required subspecialty when you need to
  • Shorter waiting times as multiple doctors work within the group
  • A wealth of different knowledge and experience, particularly if your condition is unusual
  • Continuity of care, if you prefer to see the same doctor each visit
  • Multiple locations for your convenience
  • For more complex cases, our doctors collaborate to deliver the best quality care within a multidisciplinary network

Consultation with a gynaecology specialist is the first step to highlighting the cause of your symptoms and taking the right steps to treating them.

Our 5-point promise to our patients

  1. You will be treated as an individual, not just as a patient on a waiting list.
  2. We will work to provide accurate and prompt diagnosis, which we will communicate to you in an honest way, using language that you can understand.
  3. Any treatment you require will be evidence-based, selected to ensure the greatest chance of you feeling well again.
  4. If you require after-care, or you require lifestyle changes to adapt following treatment, we can help ensure you have the best health professionals to ease the process.
  5. We strive to maintain the highest level of care from the initial consultation and throughout all your visits to our practices.

Our Doctors

All our consultants have extensive experience in helping people with both common and less common gynaecological conditions

Each consultant is also appointed by NHS Hospitals in London, as well as their private practice.

Insured patients

Our consultants are recognised by all of the major insurance companies so within their
Guidelines you will not have to pay any additional fees to see them.

Most medical Insurers request a referral from your GP or other specialist before agreeing to cover the costs. Please contact them prior to your first appointment to ensure they will authorise your claim. They will provide you with a pre-authorisation number for your consultation and treatment.

Self-pay fees

Alternatively, you can pay for your treatment yourself. Our standard fees are as follows:

  • Initial Consultation £230
  • Follow-up Consultation £150
